Todd Gaines
President

Todd Gaines is owner and President of Gaines Oil Company. Todd graduated from Chatham Central High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with honors at North Carolina State University. 

 

With 3 decades in the petroleum industry. Todd brings a wealth of knowledge to Team GOC in  leading the company's management and industry specialists.  His knowledge helps customers stay up to date in the ever changing petroleum industry and helps them plan for their short term and long term needs.

Chip Poole
Vice President

Chip started in the Petroleum industry right after his duty with the United States Marine Corps in 1992 and has been taking care of customers throughout the US since. He has a passion for helping others. Chip has a lot of knowledge and experience in the areas of Diesel Fuel and Gasoline quality and maintenance, Emergency Fueling 24/7/365, with many years of hands on with the end users in the industry. Working closely with the customers and satisfying their request and needs in a timely professional manner. Chip has a lot of networking resources to be considered a “1 Stop Shop” in the petroleum industry.

Susan Cribbs
Chief Financial Officer

Susan Cribbs is the Chief Financial Officer at Gaines Oil Company.  Susan joined the GOC family in 2017.  Most of her thirty five years of experience has been in the manufacturing industry.  She is excited about learning as much as she can about the petroleum industry and is excited to help serve GOC’s wonderful customers.  Susan has a degree in Business Administration from Wilson Community college.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, and volunteering in different areas of her church.  Susan has also enjoyed several mission trips to the Jamaican Deaf Village.

Seth Campbell
Systems/Supply/Pricing

Seth comes to Gaines Oil Company with a strong financial and Accounting background with experience in the distribution, downstream petroleum and manufacturing industries.  Now making the shift to Operations and Logistics in the fuel business his experience allows him to approach the process with a unique perspective.  He enjoys taking a creative approach to common problems and finding solutions for customers and GOC through technical analysis and asking too many questions.  When not on the phone you will find Seth searching for songs to add to his list of “greatest snare drums”.

Joel Thomas
Senior Project Manager

Joel Thomas is the manager of our Fuel Polishing and Projects Divisions. Joel graduated from Lee County High School and continued his education at Central Carolina Community College as a Certified Ceramic Laboratory Technician and in the Associate of Science-Mechanical Engineering program. With over 30 years experience in the Estimating/Product Engineering/Project Management fields combined with 8 years experience in the fuel testing/fuel quality/fuel polishing field Joel brings project management and fuel polishing experience and wisdom to the GOC family.

Hayley Brown
Accounting Manager

Hayley Brown joined our team in 2018 as an Accounting Specialist and has since been promoted to Accounting Manager. Her time in the Local Transportation Division showed her the inner workings of GOC and taught her the basics of being in the oil and gas industry. 

 

Hayley has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting/Finance concentration from St. Andrews University, Summa Cum Laude. She works on a daily basis with our CFO/Management Team and other division managers to promote and ensure the overall financial health of the company. She is also heavily involved in our Emergency/Storm Division while managing the back-office duties and taking care of complex storm billing.

 

Hayley’s favorite part of her job is working with an incredible office staff each day, while inevitably making memories. While not at work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and visiting the beach.

Langston Cole
Transportation Manager

Langston Cole is a very valued member of Gaines Oil Company. He leads our Transportation team and does a fantastic job getting our drivers on and off the road each day with important deliveries to our customers.

Nathan Blake
Logistics Manager

Nathan brings 15 years of experience in logistics and fuel distribution and almost 20 years in commodity work to the team. He enjoys the fast pace of the oil industry and takes a data driven approach to success.

Rocky Vaughters
Fuel Polishing Manager

Rocky is a graduate from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentration Management Information Systems. He has spent 15 years in various roles throughout the construction industry. His experiences allow him to think on his feet and adjust to the ever changing fuel climate. He looks forward to the challenge of learning and applying his knowledge to grow Gaines Oil Company Fuel Polishing Division and providing the best service to our customers.
