Todd Gaines is owner and President of Gaines Oil Company. Todd graduated from Chatham Central High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with honors at North Carolina State University.
With 3 decades in the petroleum industry. Todd brings a wealth of knowledge to Team GOC in leading the company's management and industry specialists. His knowledge helps customers stay up to date in the ever changing petroleum industry and helps them plan for their short term and long term needs.
MEET OUR TEAM
Chip started in the Petroleum industry right after his duty with the United States Marine Corps in 1992 and has been taking care of customers throughout the US since. He has a passion for helping others. Chip has a lot of knowledge and experience in the areas of Diesel Fuel and Gasoline quality and maintenance, Emergency Fueling 24/7/365, with many years of hands on with the end users in the industry. Working closely with the customers and satisfying their request and needs in a timely professional manner. Chip has a lot of networking resources to be considered a “1 Stop Shop” in the petroleum industry.
Chief Financial Officer
Susan Cribbs is the Chief Financial Officer at Gaines Oil Company. Susan joined the GOC family in 2017. Most of her thirty five years of experience has been in the manufacturing industry. She is excited about learning as much as she can about the petroleum industry and is excited to help serve GOC’s wonderful customers. Susan has a degree in Business Administration from Wilson Community college. In her free time, she enjoys reading, and volunteering in different areas of her church. Susan has also enjoyed several mission trips to the Jamaican Deaf Village.
Senior Project Manager
Joel Thomas is the manager of our Fuel Polishing and Projects Divisions. Joel graduated from Lee County High School and continued his education at Central Carolina Community College as a Certified Ceramic Laboratory Technician and in the Associate of Science-Mechanical Engineering program. With over 30 years experience in the Estimating/Product Engineering/Project Management fields combined with 8 years experience in the fuel testing/fuel quality/fuel polishing field Joel brings project management and fuel polishing experience and wisdom to the GOC family.
Director of Logistics
Carrie recently joined the the GOC team as the Director of Logistics. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service, account management and sales, with 4 of those years tenured in the fuel industry. She is well versed in customer satisfaction and supplier/carrier communication along with extensive knowledge in relationship management and price and data analysis.
Carrie has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Brenau University. She is a driven individual who is excited and eager to contribute her positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail and tenacity for success in her new role as a part of the GOC family.
Kathy R. Gomez
Office / Accounting Manager
Prior to joining G.O.C. Company, Kathy worked at BMC, she was responsible for supervising payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and maintained vendor relations.
Before moving to Sanford, North Carolina, Kathy worked for 10 years for excellent companies such as Moduslink and UPS, who were Intel distributors.
Kathy loves to place the customer’s needs first has always been her priority, with a professional and friendly attitude. Her goal is to help business owner focus on his dollars and find ways to cut expenses.
Kathy also likes to get involved in activities within her community and that is why she has attended several programs at Citizens Academy in Sanford, NC., as well as Miami, FL.
Cameron brings to GOC over 12 years of customer service experience in the food and beverage industry. He prides himself on his ability to meet customer expectations through effective communication and follow through. His attention to detail, strong work ethic and “go the extra mile” attitude will be a great asset to current and prospective GOC customers.
Cameron enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three beautiful children! His passion for helping others and his community is evident as he is always willing to jump in and lend a hand. Cameron is excited to transition into the petroleum industry and looks forward to learning from the experienced industry leaders here at Gaines Oil Company.
Fuel Specialist Team Leader
Hello I'm Andy I'm the Fuel specialist team leader with the fuel polishing division. I have been in the fuel polishing business since 2014. I've have had the opportunity in the past years to gain experience in other aspects of this division such as sales, marketing, and project work. Also have held a class A CDL license with tanker and haz-mat endorsement since 1999. These skill sets I have listed above allow me to perform my job at Gaines oil company in a timely and professional manner!
Hayley is the Accounting Specialist for the Fuel Hauling division and works directly with our fuel delivery customers to ensure satisfaction and accurate information.
After graduating from Lee County High School in 2016, she continued her educational career and is currently obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration specializing in Accounting/Finance from St. Andrew's University.
Although she is new to the oil and gas industry, she loves her job and is excited to learn all she can about the business.
